Privacy
Your privacy, in plain English.
I keep this simple because my data practices are simple. I collect only what I need to reply to you, and I don’t track you around the web.

Who I am
This website is operated by Southtowns Digital, a digital services business serving the Buffalo Southtowns and Western New York. This policy explains what information I collect through this website, how I use it, and the choices you have. It applies to southtowns.org only.
Information you give me
The main information I collect is what you choose to type into my contact form: your name, business name, email address, an optional phone number, the service you’re interested in, and your message. If you email me directly, I also receive whatever you include in that email. I only ask for what I need to reply and, if you hire me, to do the work.
Information collected automatically
I run no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and I set no tracking cookies. However, like every website, mine is delivered by a hosting provider (Cloudflare) that automatically records limited technical data — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — in standard server logs. This happens for security, abuse prevention, and to deliver the site reliably. I use this only for those purposes and don’t use it to build a profile of you.
How I use your information
I use the details you send to reply to your inquiry, provide quotes, and carry out work you hire me to do. I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and I do not use it for advertising. I may keep a record of my correspondence so I can serve you well over time.
Who processes your data
When you submit the contact form, your message is delivered through Web3Forms, a third-party form service, which passes it to my inbox under its own privacy terms. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes the technical log data described above. I don’t otherwise share your information except where required by law.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies of its own, and there are no advertising or analytics cookies. Because there’s nothing to consent to, you won’t see a cookie banner. My hosting provider may use strictly necessary, security-related technology to keep the site available.
How long I keep it
I keep inquiry messages and related correspondence only as long as I need them to help you or to meet legal and record-keeping obligations, then delete them. Hosting server logs are retained by my provider for a short period under their standard policies. You can ask me to delete your information at any time.
Your rights and choices
You can ask me at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information you’ve sent me, and I’ll honor reasonable requests. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act — including the right to access or delete your data and to know that I do not sell it. To exercise any of these, just contact me using the details below.
How I protect your information
This site is served only over encrypted HTTPS, uses a strict security policy, and runs no server-side database of its own. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect the information you send me.
Children’s privacy
This website is meant for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. I don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent me information, contact me and I’ll delete it.
Links to other sites
My site may link to other websites I don’t control. I’m not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and I encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I’ll change the “last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
